17 June to 17 July Aboriginal play about hepatitis tours 30 NSW towns - dates here

Date and Time:
17/06/2008 - 10:00am - 17/07/2008 - 4:00pm

An Aboriginal play to raise awareness of Hepatitis C is touring  30  NSW towns,  finishing in Mt Druitt on Thursday 17 July.

"Chopped Liver" is free and intended for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander audiences aged 16 years and older.

Told through the stories of Lynne and Jim, the play uses comedy to humanise the experience of Hepatitis C, raising awareness and opening opportunities for discussion, prevention and support.

It's about knowing that people with Hepatitis C are so much more than "Chopped Liver".

The tour by the Ilbijerri Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Theatre is backed by NSW Health, the Aboriginal Health & Medical Research Council and the Hepatitis C Council of NSW.
