Between 1940 and 1945, sixty-one German cities with a total population of
25 millions were destroyed or devastated in a bombing campaign initiated
by the British government. Destruction on this scale had no other purpose
than the indiscriminate mass murder of as many German people as possible
quite regardless of their civilian status. It led to retaliatory bombing
resulting in 60,000 British dead and 86,000 injured.

War criminal Bush going to Olympics. Should people cheer?
Posted July 6th, 2008 by Anonymousor is it a great chance for the worlds athletes and stadium audience to turn their backs in contempt for the war criminal .Now that would be an effective non-violent peoples protest on a world scale!
Congratulations are due to the Chinese government and Wen Jiabao
Posted May 22nd, 2008 by PyewacketI think congratulations are due to the Chinese government for the way it has handled the earthquake crisis.
Within
hours, 50,000 Chinese troops were mobilized to search for survivors.
This was a stark contrast to the Burmese government's secrecy and
refusal to accept outside assistance in the wake of the cyclone.
Wen
Jiabao himself travelled to the affected areas to comfort his people
and was seen to be genuinely moved. This is a human side of Wen Jiabao
that we haven't seen in the past.

Maoist China foreign policy: 1970s and 1980s
Posted May 4th, 2008 by Anonymous
Nigel Harris
The Mandate of Heaven (Excerpt). A detailed account of Maoist Chinese foreign policy is beyond the scope of this article, but some examples will illustrate the central thesis: that China’s foreign policy is in no way different from that of other world powers. The Three-Worlds Theory was used to justify Chinese alliances with right-wing reactionary governments during the 1970s and 1980s.

Apartheid type pass system oppresses millions in ‘socialist’ China.
Posted March 16th, 2008 by AnonymousChina ,with its profitable export industries in the hands of imperialist multinationals attempts to emulate the labour aristocracy system of imperialism, one privileged worker class section and the other enslaved proletariat . The socialist “Iron rice bowl” system under Mao has been smashed .

China :Choking the people for capitalist growth. Air pollution is costing China 3.8 percent of its gross domestic product.
Posted February 19th, 2008 by Anonymous
The press is full of lauditory praise of GDP growth in China.
But this is primarily export driven growth for the 'free trade" profits of foreign capital. Goods and labour value as profit gets shipped out .Consumption by people like you is external ,but the human environmental cost remains.

Speculation: What will happen in China as the US goes into recession?
Posted January 8th, 2008 by AnonymousChina is creating its own huge giant multinationals by robbing its people’s savings.
Since socialism was abandon ed the "unprofitable" State sector only exists to provide cheap raw materials to ensure profits for the privatised, mostly imperialist owned export sector.
