All this was big news & still is, one could argue that American television or media are terrorists for making people terrified of Muslims. 

Muslims have got alot to awnser too, labeling the howard governments actions as extreme is fair enough but it takes two to tango. What about muslims they have been guilty of extremism countless times & quite frankly have basically terrorised alot of westerners with their behaviour, in many cases forcing them to flee their own communities in many parts of the western world even in places as remote as sweden.

But it is rightfully argued that American television operators are the real terrorists who should be locked up in jail, for they have been making people fear muslims for decades & muslims would have though to themselves ok the west is scared of us, we can just march into all of their countries & set up camp, they can feed us with their food from their farms & if they dont feed us we will chop their heads off.

Certain websites below have over 10 000 000 individual hits this tells us that their is alot of interest in this topic, but could it be argued that these websites also promote extremism, fear & paranoia, its possible people do have the right to know what is going on around the world, but it could be argued that websites below do create fear & paranoia especially amongst people who are not muslims & once people are terrified of Muslims, Muslims can then march in & set up their governments, hand out kebabs willy nilly, this is the master plan of the corrupt american media.

If you are not a muslim for example can you feel free to travel to a muslim country like a tourist without being terrorised, will they feed you & your family if you migrated there, or will they be violent towards you ? We have seen plenty of tourists taken captive, terrorised & even killed, if you go to their country will they chop your head off because you are not a muslim ? I must admit I am terrified of them because american television has gone out of its way to make me terrified of them, I have been totally brainwashed, if I eat a kebab am I guilty of Treason ? This is the question I ask myself.

They come to countries like Australia & we don't chop their heads off or beat or bash them, abuse them & so forth, generally Australians are quite charitable towards them, despite the history of outrageous behaviour we have witnessed on the television for decades, despite all the the fear rhetoric, thanks to american media one would think if you came across a muslim you would run as far as you can or either physically attack them after the decades of anti-muslim brainwashing we have had.

In my email exchange with Inayat Bunglawala of the Muslim Council of Britain last week, I underestimated how adept he was at avoiding my questions. I wanted to explore the various ways in which we could tackle violent extremism; he only wanted to talk about the impact of the Iraq war (which I accepted "exacerbates" the problem, but he didn't want to move on from that).

Inayat later adds: "HT are, however, a non-violent party and have every right to spread their ideas peacefully. As I said earlier, you seem to huff and puff a lot, but you just don't seem to have anything of substance to offer on this topic."

Let's see, shall we?

Exhibit A: A saved Hizb ut-Tahrir leaflet from 2001 in English is titled, "The Muslim Ummah will never submit to the Jews." It also includes these passages: "In origin, no one likes the Jews except the Jews. Even the themselves rarely like each other ... The American people do not like the Jews nor do the Europeans, because the Jews by their very nature do not like anyone else." There is more anti-semitism contained in there.

Exhibit B: Another leaflet on one of their websites, "Islamic State", has a leaflet talking about killing Jews "where ever you find them".

Exhibit C: A HuT activist getting arrested and convicted for inciting hatred in Denmark. The party is also banned in Germany and other European countries for doing the same.

Exhibit D: Their constitution, which I saved on my blog before they took it down, says that all apostates who leave Islam should be killed.

Exhibit E: For a Newsnight programme in 2003 a camouflaged Mosque leader says: "I believe that if Hizb Ut Tahrir are not stopped at this stage, and we continue to let them politicise and pollute the youngsters' minds and other gullible people's minds, then what will happen in effect is that these terrorism acts and these suicide bombings that we hear going on around in foreign countries, we will actually start seeing these incidents happening outside our doorsteps."

Exhibit F: At a march in London organised by HuT not long ago, Asim Qureshi from Stop Political Terror, who has repeatedly shared a platform with HuT, says: "... we see Hezbollah defeating the armies of Israel, we know what the solution is, and where the victory lies ... we know that it is incumbent upon all of us to support the jihad of our brothers and sisters in these countries when they are facing the oppression of the west." At the same rally a HuT poster reads: "Send Muslim armies to defend the innocent."

Exhibit G: Writer Zia Sardar, who has decades of experience in Muslim politics from around the world, explains: "In fact, violence is central to HT's goals. Its primary objective is to establish a caliphate. It seeks, I have been told on numerous occasions, a 'great Islamic state' ruled by a single caliph who would apply Islam 'completely to all Islamic lands' and eventually to 'the whole world'. What would be applied 'completely' is the sharia, Islamic law.

"No wonder they recognise no compromise. Their ideology argues that there is only one way Muslims can or should be ruled, that those who form this caliphate have the right to rule, that all others must submit unconditionally and that only this political interpretation of Islam is valid and legitimate. In other words, the caliphate of Hizb ut-Tahrir's vision can be established only by doing violence to all other interpretations of Islam and all Muslims who do not agree with it - not to mention the violence it must do to the rest of the world, which also must eventually succumb."

Exhibit H: The MCB's own Abdurahman says on Cif: "Some HuT members had in the past even offered fatwas against the MCB including one calling for the death of Inayat." Inayat hurriedly distances himself from those comments by declaring that Abdurahman is "talking nonsense".

Exhibit I: Both Omar Sharif, who blew himself up in Israel, and Muhammad Babar, who had originally planned attacks here, were linked with Hizb ut-Tahrir.

A peaceful group?
Given all the above, there are a few points I'd like to make:

1) On my own blog and Cif, I have continually highlighted stories where newspapers have lied or exaggerated about Muslims [See: this, this, this, this, this, this, this, or this] because I believe they fit into an atmosphere of demonisation that leads to increased attacks against them. The MCB follows the same line of thinking and has repeatedly talked about "growing Islamophobia in the media".

So, if we assume then that propaganda, literature and lies based on hatred can lead people to hurt or kill others out of spite, why not apply this same logic to members of Hizb ut-Tahrir, or its off-shoots such as Al-Muhajiroun (now defunct, though they pop up in other guises)? Why not apply that logic to the preachers seen on Channel 4's "Undercover Mosque" Dispatches film and those the MCB's affiliates invite here?

2) Coincidentally, there has also been an increase in anti-semitism on university campuses.

3) I'm not in favour of banning HuT. Vile as they may be, their hatred and propaganda mirrors that of the BNP. At least, the former does not get public money.

No platform
What I would like to see is so-called "community leaders", from all faiths, accepting the impact of religious extremists within their midst and taking on their arguments openly. And yet, Inayat Bungalwala seems a tad reticent on this prospect. Could it be because he has claimed, live on Pakistani TV while next to a member of HuT, that it should be the duty of every Muslim to be in favour of a Khilafah (Caliphate)? In other words, he might disagree with some of their methods but not with their aims.

Could this be why, last week, Inayat is more fixated with Iraq than extremist groups closer to home? After all, as many Muslims too have pointed out, just blaming Iraq is a cop-out. Otherwise, they would all be blowing themselves up.

Could it be because social alienation, lack of job opportunities and other socio-economic factors are not sexy enough to campaign about? It is obvious that directly tackling violent extremism is not something the MCB can do - they don't have the capacity, willingness, or ability. They can only highlight and discuss issues, and yet, even here, so much double-speak is used as to render any conversation useless.

More than just tackling violent extremism, however, taking on the arguments and ideals of such racists is a vital part of furthering social cohesion. But why should any sane Jew, Hindu or Sikh group take the MCB seriously if they make no effort to distance themselves from such groups?

They present themselves more as a barrier to social cohesion, by showing British Muslims in a bad light, than as an ally.

Those who are guilty of apostasy (murtadd) from Islam are to be executed according to the rule of apostasy, provided they have by themselves renounced Islam.

Any [political] party not established on the basis of Islam is prohibited.

Sovereignty belongs to the divine law (shara') and not to the people.

Every mature male and female Muslim, who is sane, has the right to participate in the election of the Khaleefah [head of state] and in giving him the pledge (ba'iah). Non-Muslims have no right in this regard.

Jihad is a compulsory duty (farD) on all Muslims. Military training is therefore compulsory. Thus, every male Muslim, fifteen years and over, is obliged to undergo military training in readiness for jihad.

Every citizen of the State has the right to become a member of the Majlis al-Ummah [Peoples' Representatives], provided he or she is both mature and sane. This applies to Muslim and non-Muslim. However, membership to non-Muslims is confined to their voicing of complaints in respect to unjust acts performed by the rulers or the misapplication of Islam upon them.

The primary role of a woman is that of a mother and wife. She is an honour ('ird) that must be protected.

Segregation of the sexes is fundamental, they should not meet together except for a need that the shar' allows or for a purpose the shar' allows men and women to meet for, such as trading or pilgrimage (Hajj).

Women are not allowed to take charge of ruling, thus women cannot hold the positions of Khaleefah mu'aawin, waali, 'aamil nor to practice any actions of ruling. She is not allowed to be a chief judge, a judge in maHkaamat ul-MuDHalim nor ameer of Jihad.

Women live within a public and private life. Within their public life, they are allowed to live with other women, maHram males [males forbidden to them in marriage] and foreign men (whom they can marry) on condition that nothing of the women's body is revealed, apart from her face and hands, and that the clothing is not revealing nor her charms displayed. Within the private life she is not allowed to live except with women or her maHram ales and she is not allowed to live together with foreign men. In both cases she has to restrict herself with the rules of shara'.

Women are forbidden to be in private (khulwah) with any men they can marry, they are also forbidden to display their charms or to reveal their body in front of foreign men.

[Child CUstody:] If only one of the parents is Muslim, there is no choice for the child is to join the Muslim parent.

Jizyah (head-tax) is collected from the non-Muslims (dhimmis). It is to be taken from the mature men if they are financially capable of paying it. It is not taken from women or children.

The purpose of education is to form the Islamic personality in thought and behaviour. Therefore, all subjects in the curriculum must be chosen on this basis.

It is absolutely forbidden for any individual, party, group or association to have relations with a foreign state.

The political cause of the Ummah is Islam, in the might of the State, the improvement of the implementation of its rules, and continuity in its call (da'wah) to humankind.

The State is forbidden to belong to any organisation that is based on something other than Islam or which applies non-Islamic rules. This includes international organisations like the United Nations, the International Court of Justice, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, and regional organisations like the Arab League.

Evidence points to the fact that the corrupt American government & its allies actually support & finance militant Islam, they see Islam as a tool of oppression which can be used in the third world or so called undeveloped world. Forcing people out of their ancestoral villages at the point of a gun with a copy of the Koran.

Using miliant Islam to oppress people, create refugees, kill people opposed to the rule of a one & only God, note that Abraham is also considered to be the father of all Muslims & Mohammed their militant tribal warlord & Abraham is also considered to be the father of the Jews & many christians see Abraham as a father figure as well.

So muslims are just terrorising people in third world countries in the name of a corrupt religion, many indonesians were terrorised by Muslims, the native people of Papua New Guinea were terrorised by them, many african tribes were terrorised by them & they have even terrorised western countries as well. Religions such as Islam. Judaism & even Christianity are corrupt for they all promote the worship of One God & this is corruption & oppression in itself.

People should be free to praise any God, especially Gods not associated with Islam, Judaism & Christianity.

3. Faking the 'War on Terror'

The 'War on Terror' is spurious because there is strong evidence that the events to which it is purportedly a response-the terrorist atrocities of September 11, 2001-were orchestrated not by Osama bin Laden (whose partisans or minions served, however, as useful patsies), but rather by high-placed elements within the United States government. There are several converging lines of evidence: taken separately, they cry out for investigation; taken together, they appear seriously incriminating.7

There have been substantial developments during the past year in the assessment of material, photographic and testimonial evidence relating to the collapses of the three towers of the World Trade Center (the 47-storey WTC 7 as well as the 110-storey Twin Towers). These include scientifically informed analyses which demonstrate the physical impossibility of the official account of the Twin Towers' collapse,8 analyses of statements by fire department personnel and by survivors that there were numerous secondary explosions in the buildings in the interval between the airplane crashes and the collapses,9 video and photographic evidence that structural steel in the South Tower was being cut and melted by thermate charges during the final minutes before the tower's collapse,10 videos and photographs of the collapses of the towers in which "squibs" (explosive horizontal ejections of dust and debris) are visible well below the lines of collapse,11 and laboratory analyses of structural steel from the towers which point to its having been cut by thermate charges.12

Controlled demolition of course implies foreknowledge of the attacks as well as a complex pattern of organization-some aspects of which were made visible by Michael Ruppert, whose book Crossing the Rubicon revealed that the U.S. air defence system was effectively disabled on 9/11 by a network of air-defence and anti-terrorism exercises which transferred most of the available interceptor aircraft out of the northeastern U.S. to Alaska and Alberta, and for a crucial period that morning left the military air traffic controllers responsible for deploying the remaining jet fighters unable to determine which of the many apparently hijacked aircraft appearing on their radar screens were real, and which blips were merely part of a response-to-multiple-hijackings exercise.13 The likelihood that al Qaeda operatives could have organized the demolitions in the World Trade Center complex (whose security was contracted to Securacom, a company with close Bush family connections),14 as well as somehow coordinating airliner hijackings with what amounted to a planned disabling of the air defence system, is close to nil.

Add to this the destruction of material evidence at the WTC site, the extreme reluctance of the Bush administration to permit any inquiry into the events of 9/11, and the well-established fact-mendaciously denied by senior members of that administration-that foreign intelligence services, having evidently penetrated different parts of the 9/11 planning, gave them detailed advance warnings, and a pattern emerges that cries out for criminal investigation. Searching analyses of these issues, as well as of many features of the attacks, the ensuing cover-up, and the underlying geopolitics, have been published by Michel Chossudovsky and by other researchers,15 and the theologian and ethicist David Ray Griffin has produced magisterial summations of the evidence pointing to the Bush administration's implication in the events of 9/11.16

The 'War on Terror' is fraudulent, then, because its purported and actual goals are systematically at variance. Only in the most nakedly Orwellian sense can one claim that a project which began with apparent false-flag terrorist attacks that killed some three thousand people on American soil, and has since involved wars of aggression that have killed and maimed well over 25,000 American soldiers-not to mention killing scores of thousands of Afghans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, and exposing millions of their fellow citizens to the murderous and ineradicable toxicity of depleted uranium-is in any sense concerned with enhancing the security of Americans, or of anyone else. The pretexts used to legitimize the invasion of Iraq have without exception been exposed as lies and disinformation17-an embarrassing fact that has not prevented the Bush administration, with the supine or active collaboration of the corporate media, and, to their shame, the diplomatic support of western countries including Britain, France, Germany and Canada, from constructing a parallel set of lies and deceptions to legitimize an apparently imminent attack upon Iran.18

It is less widely appreciated that the invasion of Afghanistan was likewise carried out under false pretexts. Planned and threatened months before 9/11, this act of aggression was carried out for geopolitical reasons enunciated more than a year earlier by the Project for the New American Century, a pressure group whose key members have all held high office in the Bush administration.19 It should be of some interest to Canadians to know that in September 2001 the United States rejected offers of the Afghani Taliban regime to deliver Osama bin Laden to Pakistan for trial there;20 to know that opium production, which the Taliban had nearly eliminated in the provinces it controlled, bounced back to a new high once the U.S.-backed warlords of the Northern Alliance came to power;21 and to learn that the appalling oppression of Afghan women by reactionary theocrats that the Bush regime adopted as an ex post facto reason for its invasion appears not to have significantly diminished under the Karzai regime.22 Canadians might also be intrigued to discover that in June 2006 a journalist who wondered about the absence of any mention of 9/11 on Bin Laden's FBI Most Wanted listing was informed by Rex Tomb, the FBI's Chief of Investigative Publicity, that the reason for this absence "is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11."23 This looks rather like an acknowledgment that the so-called "Bin Laden confession video" released by the U.S. in December 2001, and widely represented as justifying the attack on Afghanistan, is in fact not authentic.24

The 'War on Terror' is also fraudulent because while purporting, as Bush himself has declared, to confer upon others what Americans "wish for ourselves-safety from violence, the rewards of liberty, and the hope for a better life,"25 his administration has in fact sought through false-flag terrorism and shameless propaganda and disinformation to frighten Americans into supporting a resource-war geopolitics of unconstrained aggression. Concomitants of this endless warfare include the devolution of what is now called the "homeland" in the direction of a one-party state,26 a deliberate voiding of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, and a parallel extinction of international human rights law whose visible embodiment is an archipelago of prisons and torture houses extending from Guantanamo Bay to Abu Graib and Bagram.27

The Madrid bombing trial: what has been revealed so far

The Federal Opposition says the Government should explain how high-profile British Muslim Yvonne Ridley passed the character test to visit Australia for a conference this weekend.

The Government has refused to allow a Canadian Muslim cleric Sheikh Bilal Philips into the country on security grounds.

Labor's Tony Burke says the Government should investigate the accuracy of comments attributed to Ms Ridley in the past.

"There's reported comments and if they're inaccurate then that's the answer, but if the reported comments from Ridley are accurate, then we're letting someone into the country who has been a defender of the organiser of the Beslan school massacre - somebody who has described suicide bombings as martyrdom operations," he said.

Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews says the Government's decision is based on assessments done by Australia's security agencies.

"In the case of Miss Ridley, she is judged not to be a threat to the national security of Australia," he said.

"There is a vast distinction between allowing someone into Australia whose views you may not like and somebody who is a threat to national security."
