If anyone knows if such a system is being worked on in Australia please comment . . .
Alot of people have heard about programs like Limewire which basically is a simple Torrents client that has become popular around the world for downloading or uploading or hosting music files, what is torrents, well torrents clients are like small client & server applications which assist people in getting the data they are looking for fast. But one must wonder that there is no such system in Australia they are usually overseas, American or generally European, what is really needed is a Torrents system like Limewire in Australia making it easier for Australian people to host or download music.
If anyone knows if such a system is being worked on in Australia please comment . . .

Holly shit your not so smart, please do not solicit information when you do not know what you are talking about... You can use whatever client you want anywhere you like.

Independent Torrents is a good idea, a brilliant idea but the sad thing is that its abit over the top with political rants . . .
People forget that the code for the first indymedia site was developed in Sydney Australia & the inspiration behind this was a music genre called Independent music often called indy music which can sometimes be political but not all the time & Independent music will deal with everyday life issues as well & quite often be not over the top with political rants like Independent Torrents is over the top with political rants today. So Independent Torrents is basically doing nothing to support the Independent music scene which had punk music roots anyhows back in the day.

Its not illegal if your d/l them for your own personal use as that does'nt breach copyright rules, Also as long as your not d/l them for profit it is legal, Last but not least Limewire is so dodgy with so many virus's i would'nt recommend using it.

That is incorrect, it is illegal to download for personal use. Unless the work is released under a license that permits it (eg creative commons) or the work is in the public domain (eg really old stuff).
