The Christian “Jihadi” Bush, assures Amekkkans its O.K.
Common dreams reports on his latest memorial day speech:“Right
at the end of a few minutes of the usual patriotic vacuities, he asks
all Americans to remember the soldiers who paid the ultimate price, who
were “delivered out of the agony of war to meet their Creator.”
“A statement which basically says, “4,000 soldiers have died, but that’s OK because however awful their deaths were, they’re now a lot better off than they were before (and than we are who are still struggling along on Earth) because, well, they’re face-to-face with the Big Guy Himself. So, not to worry.” For the full report:

Satirical
A Satirical Comment based on my own exclusive ’news reports” With an apology to the families of the ordinary soldiers ,the U$ victims of bush criminal wars.
But .is also necessary to remember the vast numbers of ordinary people killed in Iraq and Afghanistan in these wars for oil and empire.
Mc Cain and Pastor Hagee are both said to be furious and disappointed that Bush was such an intellectual .
in “preachifying’ patriotic things like this.
Simply for his own political advantage, instead of allowing them all to share a joint patriotic Amerikkkan platform.
So that they too could have all sung along in simple patriotic chorus, a song they all knew with essentially the same sentimental religious crap . So as to console the families of ‘our good Ol boys”
That the soldier victims would get their reward in heaven .
Of course many of these U$ victims were misled by Bush into thinking they were fighting patriticaly to defend america.
but were not fighting a religious war for god.
Bush the born again christian ,slanders their memory (including the
agnostics and atheists )by implying the dead were all fighting for
religious motives of reward .Most thought they were fighting to defend
amerika.
Some audience members like Cheney and Rice are believed to have had tears in there eyes, as they too recalled the similar words of that immortal song “ OL Shep “ that McCain and pastor Hagee were referring too.
A religious song about the principal of the faithful that serve their masters untill death. A song that perhaps correctly reflects the attitude of Bush and co. to ordinary soldiers. As cannon fodder.
"I cried so I scarcely could see "
"Old shep he has gone
Where the good doggies go
And no more with old shep will I roam
But if dogs have a heaven
Theres one thing I know
Old shep has a wonderful home. "
Can you sing it too?
See, we all feel better now don’t we?

Offensive crap
You are an offensive bastard. The dead in any war, on any side, should be respected. They were all brainwashed into believing that God was on their side so it is NOT their fault. We should feel sorry for the dead and their families, not disrespect them like this. I hope someone sees fit to either remove this or at least change the title.
Re: Offensive crap
“You are an offensive bastard.”
I hope so ! Offensive to the dumb-assed Bush , McCain , Cheney ,Rice, and haggees of this world who promote lying justifications for imperialist wars ,and then prettify their wars with religious justifications, so as to cynically get a supply of cannon fodder for the ruling classes . And then attempt to pretend to console the families of the dead with more religious crap. The only thing that bush didn’t say was his martys would be rewarded with a supply of virgins in heaven.
“The dead in any war, on any side, should be respected.
They were all brainwashed into believing that God was on their side
so it is NOT their fault.” In the satire above nowhere are the ordinary soldiers not respected in fact they are praised as patriotic,But misled and manipulated by war criminals. Victims
“The dead in any war, on any side, should be respected.”
Its true I do not believe that. There are two kinds of wars offensive and defensive and in war not all who fight and die are misled victims .Some, like dead Hitlers deserve no respect but condemnation.
But that criticisms was not made of the ordinary American soldiers.
What you are saying under cover of calling for ‘ respecting the dead” is not to oppose the cynical promotion of religious justifications for wars.
Re: The Christian “Jihadi” Bush, assures Amekkkans its O.K.
Editorial guidelines to support the crusade?
This article above was posted in order to point out that Bush ,as cheif spokesperson for imperialism was using religion to promote and justify war .This was made obvious by his earlier use of a word characterising the wars as a Christian type “Crusade” Later Bush has backed away from using that specific word.
The original title of this post was:
“The Christian “Jihadi” Bush, assures Amekkkans its O.K. That all his
dead soldiers fighting his “crusade” are in Heaven now.”
Sydney Indymedia choose to remove that word “Crusade” from the original. Thereby distorting the article from a critisism of religious war promotion, obvious in the original title, into a bit of a perhaps whakko atheist/liberal objection to Bush the PERSON , as a simple born again fundamentalist Christian, for simply consoling bereaved families with religion in a secularist state .
As the referenced” Common Dreams” article does –makes a Personal criticism - “We’ve known that Bush some good while ago delivered himself into the hands of evangelical Christians. We’ve had a number of hints that Biblical prophecy concerning Israel, End Times, and all that, may have played a part in shaping White House policy in the Middle East”
