Can someone please tell me how I can get hold of one of these
Tshirts? I saw a girl wearing one a year or so ago, and have seen a
couple being worn in the lead-up to the Apec protests.
I live in rural in rural VIC, I haven't been able to find a website or anything, but would like to show my support even in this small way

Looks like a great demonstration with a broad cross section of people. The police were going overboard by the sound of things, but what do you expect from racist scabs/thugs? The whole APEC thing was a farce, and everyone is talking about what a waste of money it was. The Chaser's cavalcade into the Green Zone got a lot of people talking too.
Young police were manipulated too. I don't smear them as scabs and thugs in general. When the chips are down according to one movie script, when things go wrong suddenly the policeman/woman is everyone's daddy or mommy.
So I personally take the view of some bad apples not suitable to the job. We saw evidence of that on Saturday. We also saw evidence of a tiny minority of nutcases in the rally midst but best of all 99.99% great and good people. God love 'em.
This writer personally defused 3 serious provocations but two were arrested later anyway, and also helped neutralise a few more general standoffs with no actual malice involved. Talk about emotionally draining.
But its the govt masters who have most to answer in terms of good governance of justice policies. Make no mistake its been a race to the bottom of popular authoritarianism with fascist tendencies in the govt to hold and keep their big corporate donations and political power. It's very corrupt indeed. But the police essentially are not the problem or cause of that with a few notable exceptions.

Collage of Stop Bush Coalition march in
Sydney CBD Sept 8th 2007 Mood: special Topic: peace
After years of faltering Canadian Broadcasting Corporation News integrity (noted by CBC journalists themselves), it was refreshing to see MacDonald (one of a dying breed deserving of the title 'Journalist') report on the Middle East again. It was nice to have a reminder of what honest, objective reporting is supposed to look like, and what we could be seeing in regards to the situation. (MacDonald was posted to the region for five years, until Israeli threats against his family forced him to leave, taking an assignment for CBC in Washington DC.)

GREAT JOB AGAINST THE ASSES OF EVIL: BUSH & HOWARD (& Blair)!
GREAT JOB AUSTRALIA!

I.E., THE *REMAINING* EVIL EMPIRE!
Don't get too excited (and turn off your caps lock)
We've only gone from one evil to another. The Labor Party is notorious
for silencing dissenters using Soviet psychiatry if necessary.
