If an anarchist friend signs off a text message with 'Peaceout', what does that mean, please?
Meaning of Peaceout
Peaceout started at the time of the Vietnam war when people would call out to soldiers "Peace - out!" meaning peace in Vietnam and U.S.A. out of there.
Now it has taken on the meaning of 'over and out, goodbye and peace be with you'.
I like it, I often sign off with Peaceout.
