anarchy
Poem of Defiance
Posted January 24th, 2008 by cam
cops are not NAZI's
howard is not hitler
anarchy does not mean anti-state
bush has a high IQ, it's you that was fooled.
some good things have come of this war
the taliban is my enemy, as with any religious zealot, moderate or extreme
the children scream as their bombs rain down randomly
a digger dodges bullets to cover her
it's that little act of kindness in the midst of hell
the hero in a situation they can't control
elected dictators, wars and lies

Is Anarchist art and literature, still contributing anything positive or "useful" for humanity, or is it in fact dead?
Posted January 12th, 2008 by Anonymous
This Marxist maintains that it is not dead and nominates 2 works for a start he/she considers 'anarchistic in spirit" from America in the last 30 years as contenders for a non-existent Anarchist "Nobel" style award.
These are.
1.For Artistic Literature in the cause of Peace "Some People Push Back"
On the Justice of Roosting Chickens

Anarchy in the Gallery
Posted September 2nd, 2007 by Jura
A unique collection of Australian political posters is to be seen in public for the first time. The Jura Books poster collection was re-discovered a few years ago gathering dust in Australia's oldest anarchist bookshop. They are to be exhibited at the University of Sydney as part of the student union's Verge Arts festival, over the APEC period.
Contained in the collection are many screenprinted posters produced by the famous Tin Sheds artist collectives. The squatted tin sheds were home to Earthworks and other radical artist collectives. Through the 1970s and 1980s these groups explored new artistic and political territory.

Victorian Federal Court Judges ducking for cover in Conspiracy to Pervert the Course of Justice, Hired Guns to fly in
Posted July 26th, 2007 by AnonymousHired gun Steven David RARES is to be brought in as Judge for a Motion for Summary Dismissal he has no jurisdiction over. The date is 24Th AUgust ladies and gentlemen. However, there is a Notice of Constitutional Matter pending in the High Court.
It would seem the Federal Court Judges in the VICTORIA DISTRICT REGISTRY are to dumb to tackle some poor Nip. Or maybe Victorian Federal Court Judges feel that Nips are beneath them and should NOT be heard in the Federal Court.
Shall we hear what the High COurt has to say?
The Hon (?) Steven David RARES

Last week became official: News Limited really limits your news!
Posted July 16th, 2007 by AnonymousThe whole saga only developed las week, on Wednesday and Thursday, after they actually threatened "to go" blogger Peter Brent, from http://www.mumble.com.au , and Charles Richardson (from Crikey) who had both been quite effective and meticulous in their critical dissecting of The Australian's analysis and opinion pieces, especially regarding The Australian's interpretation of polling data. Next, the Blog Wars between the Mainstream Media (MSM) and the Oz Blogosphere escalated to unseen polemical heights.

How to Post on Indymedia and Remain Anonymous
Posted June 14th, 2007 by AnonymousBeware the N.S.W. Police State
You might need to know how to use the Internet to send untraceable email and post anonymously on Indymedia. The recipient of any messages won't be able to trace you. The Internet provider won't be able to trace you. The local phone company won't be able to trace you. The HealthQuest whistleblower-finders won't be able to trace you.
Plants, Dogs and Anarchy
Posted June 13th, 2007 by MulligrubsI am just wondering about youse anarchists here. I am not asking a stupid question, just really wondering. You reckon there should be no borders and people should be able to roam free and there should be no gaols and communities should deal with offenders but what about blackberry bush, lantana, annual ragweed, cabomba, camel thorn, castor oil plant, madeira vine, water hyacinth, witchweed, and all those other plantsome nasties.
Are plants entitled to anarchy also? Do you reckon nature will sort it all out in the end? Does it matter if lantana chokes out native plants?

Venezuela: The case of RCTV and the fictional democratization of communication
Posted June 10th, 2007 by Anonymous* The Collective of “El Libertario”, Venezuelan anarchist newspaper, makes public its reasoned out position in the debate generated by the case of RCTV, in where the current government imposes a solution where we pass from the meanness that the capitalistic private oligopoly of TV to the dreadful that could be the monopoly of a bureaucratic and authoritarian state.
[AK-Dispatches] NEW AT AK PRESS JUNE 2007
Posted June 9th, 2007 by AnonymousIN THIS E-MAIL: NEW FROM AK PRESS DISTRIBUTION/NEW FROM AK PRESS/BE OUR FRIEND
As part of our ever evolving and expanding vision of the work that we do and the contradictions that we face as an anarchist collective operating within a capitalist paradigm, we are constantly seeking out new ways of talking about AK Press and sharing the skills, tools and knowledge we've picked up along the way. It is important that the process of theorizing and of creating a praxis around building community, workplace organization and challenging the state be decentralized, especially given the past and present implications of who has been able to participate in these endeavors historically.
To this end, we have come up with a new description of AK Press and the why and how of the work that we do which we invite you to read by clicking on the following link or pasting it into your browser window.

Politicians' and ICAC's "Consideration" is Corruption and a Mockery of We People
Posted May 31st, 2007 by Jo HewittActivists and people who feel they have been wronged by seemingly corrupt public servants (including politicians and CEOs), have long spent thousands of hours putting the evidence and explanations together in order to present this to the ones who are supposed to be fighting corruption and serving the public.
Who denied us access to : "Ombudsman's Office double crosses Kerrison" ?
Posted May 29th, 2007 by Jo HewittAgain it looks like someone is attempting to squash free speech and the circulation of information? When I tried to log onto the Indymedia story "Ombudsman's Office Double-Crossess Kerrison" it came with the message "access denied"
Well access is not denied on the Whistelblowers Documents Exposed site http://wbde.org who publish it in full.
