The state is going to mortgage its future tax incomes in order to provide cheap capital for bankrupt  finance capitalists  and in addition enter the bond market to prop up the value not only of the mortgage bonds but in effect prop up the value of the falling in value shares.

Most banks in the world today are effectively bankrupt ,playing pass the parcel with their debts and slight of hand swaps with the  dud bonds now on  their books that  they had Guaranteed  AAA..

They are desperately trying to rebuild a capital base  by swapping these dud bonds with bonds with real value  from the cental banks so as to desperately  try and keep functioning and to  trade themselves out of trouble as their old capital base was  destroyed.

the Global Food Crisis." The recommended investments include agribusiness stocks
and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that speculate in agricultural commodities.
These investments will no doubt do very well in the global food crisis; but
before you put your money down, you may want to explore whether you will be
helping to alleviate the problem or contributing to it. Do you really want to
"invest" in starvation?

State capitalism “market socialism” in the USSR had a slow death and then a final spectacular collapse, with its economy unable to function profitably and pay its western creditors sufficient interest on its loans.  Its removable accumulated value was mostly looted and transferred over cheaply to western capitalism.

China ,with its profitable export industries in the hands of imperialist multinationals  attempts to emulate the labour aristocracy system of imperialism, one privileged worker class section and the other enslaved proletariat . The socialist “Iron rice bowl” system under Mao has been smashed .

Rudds government plans to use  the desperate need for cheaper housing to subsidise capitalist investors and "skills shortages" as excuses to expand the importation of more indentured workers for the construction industry.

here's a thought, let us try capitalism

overthrow the current system and implement something that may work

use your innovation skills, let us prosper with hard work

a free market is a free people because the market is the people

we the people are the market, a market of the people

Super Capitalism, Super Imperialism and Monetary Imperialism

Robert B. Reich, former US Secretary of Labor and resident neo-liberal in the Clinton administration from 1993 to 1997 wrote in the September 14, 2007 edition of The Wall Street Journal an Opinion piece: CEOs Deserve Their Pay, as part of an orchestrated campaign to promote his new book:

Imperialism is a phenomenon that played and still plays an important role in the world economic scene and it reaches to the political, military and social scenes as well. Two of 20th century ?s greatest theorists, V. I Lenin and J. A Hobson have tried to define this phenomenon , explain its causes and its consequences. V. I Lenin went even further than Hobson by proposing a solution for this problem which tends to be a calamity for the world.

I have procrastinated about washing my bandanna, ironing my white overalls, filling my backpack and polishing my Army Disposal boots because I am not convinced the APEC Conference in Sydney will have any lasting impact. As a puppet show - it has no peer, as a significant economic forum - that is another question.
