APEC Exhibition: Trajectories of Dissent
Posted August 8th, 2007 by AnonymousTrajectories of Dissent is a decentralised (multi-venue) exhibition which seeks to make a visual intervention into current representations of protest focused on the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).
Inspired by histories of dissent – histories with numerous and various trajectories - this exhibition project was initiated by the struggles of the peoples of the Asia Pacific region that are challenging the dominant trade and economic policies promoted by forums such as APEC.
Trajectories of Dissent encourages people to draw their own trajectories.

Actions took place at the offices of Kevin Rudd, Peter Garrett, Kerry O’Brien, Carmen Lawrence, Lindsay Tanner, Kate Lundy and the South Australian ALP branch office.
In Maroubra a group of activists staged a peaceful protest outside Shadow minister for the Environment Peter Garrett’s office. They voiced their concern that the longstanding environmentalist is now supporting the Labor Party’s backdown from its environmental position in Tasmania.
