She said (sort of)...we replied
Posted May 3rd, 2008 by Medical Cannabi...Nicola Roxon - Australian Health Minister - received our letter, and we think she read it. However, she passed it down the line, not to be answered by her personal secretary, not by the Director of the Drug Strategy Department, nor his/her personal secretary, but the assistant secretary. Gone are the days when you wrote to someone and they dictated the answer to their secretary to send.
Letter to Health Minister Nicola Roxon
Posted April 22nd, 2008 by Medical Cannabi...(A long read, but an important issue for Medical Cannabis users, Carers and advocates).
Dear Ms Roxon,
I am writing to you about a much maligned issue in Australia, and parts of the world, and how this issue affects me on a very personal, and individual, level. My name is David _____ and I am a chronic sufferer of an ‘orphan’ seizure disorder called Cataplexy.
Medical Cannabis - Suffering before Supremacy
Posted April 3rd, 2008 by AnonymousTo a sufferer, medical cannabis has no monetary value. They don’t want to sell their medication, (if they do then they’re an idiot if it improves their quality of life). Cash doesn’t stop seizures, or pain, or night terrors etc.
Alzheimers & Medical Cannabis - u/standing the issue

"What About Me?" - "You do what we say".
Posted March 11th, 2008 by Medical Cannabi...(Parody of ‘What About Me?’ - by Moving Pictures)
Well, there’s a little sufferer waiting at the counter of the ‘Fair Go’ Shop.
He’s been waiting for them to care, waiting for the day
But Govvy never respects him from the top.
He gets pushed around, knocked to the ground,
He falls to his knees and he pleads, (….along with cancer, pain & neuro sufferers),
“What about me? This just isn’t fair,
I deserve a ‘Fair Go’, I deserve my share.
Can’t you see, we just want to live,
Don't 'Dis-' my Ability
Posted January 7th, 2008 by FreebornN.S.W. Government and the Dept. of Aging, Disability and Homecare supporteda month long campaign called: “Don’t Dis- my Ability” at the end of 2007.
It was about time that Disabled people were recognised for who they are and not just for ‘what they are’. However, all the above have ‘dissed’ medical sufferers when it comes to a vital medication, that vital medication (for many) being medical cannabis.
1) They’ve DIS-MISSED medical cannabis and its beneficiaries.
2) They’ve DIS-ALLOWED individuals to choose vital medication that truly benefits them.
So, this is Christmas-parody
Posted December 25th, 2007 by FreebornMERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL. Hope everyone gets what they want and need this year.
Perhaps the sentiments from all Medical Cannabis users........
So this is Christmas,
And what has this country done?
To ensure justice and fairness,
Instead of a war that can’t be won.
And so this is Christmas,
With Politicians having fun,
Hunting down the near and the dear ones,
The old, the sick and the young.
We want a seizure free Christmas,
And a pain free New Year,
Without persecution,
