Ivan Milat Hopeful of Again Being Cleared by New DNA Evidence
Posted December 11th, 2007 by AnonIvan Milat has lodged a new 474D application, which is an
application to a judge for a review with a view to allowing an appeal.
He
is currently not eating, as he has been refused a request to transfer
to the mainstream gaol population on the grounds of his outstandingly
good behaviour. Ivan has been on the highest level of trust for years
in the notorious H.R.M.U. prison in Goulburn, which does not conform to
international human rights standards. Ivan Milat has always treated prison officers with respect and has never been violent.

Greece: Simultaneous protests outside prisons
Posted November 14th, 2007 by AnonymousAnarchists against prisons
Following the uprising in prisons all over Greece during April (http://athens.indymedia.org/features.php3?id=463),
due to the poor living conditions which was sparked after the beating
of anarchist prisoner Giannis Dimitrakis, disciplinary measures and
prison transfers are a daily routine to those prisoners who still dare
to speak up.

news.com.au wrongly reports Haneef "conviction"
Posted July 18th, 2007 by AnonymousCheck out the caption in the photo at http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,22093752-2,00.html -- as long as the link still works!
I took a screen shot of the offending page at 6.23am and submitted a comment on the story, drawing attention to the error, at 6.33am. By 3.53pm, the offending story had been replaced by an alternative story (with a different URL) on the "National | Federal" page. But the offending page had been neither pulled nor corrected.

Do you believe the government of N.S.W. is involved in corruption and conspiracy against many of its citizens?
Posted July 4th, 2007 by AnonymousPhuong Ngo: An Innocent Man Stands Convicted, Another Victim of N.S.W. Government Corruption and Conspiracy
Posted July 4th, 2007 by AnonymousIn 1994 Phuong Ngo was wrongfully convicted of the murder of John Newman: yet another innocent man framed by N.S.W. police with the connivance of the N.S.W. government and its judiciary. Mr Ngo remains in gaol: in fact he is in the HRMU (High Risk Management Unit) in Goulburn, with a lot of other political prisoners of N.S.W. Why are they in a 'high risk management' unit when they are model prisoners?

EU/ The myth of Islamic terrorism
Posted May 3rd, 2007 by AnonymousIf we look at the people arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences, the figures are rather disproportionate; about half of them arrested were Muslim. In plain English: Muslims are a group causing very little terrorism in Europe, while at the same time much more likely to be arrested on suspicion of it. The constant media coverage of Muslims being arrested creates the false image of a serious threat in order to benefit the imperialist world-view Washington wants us to adopt.
