Why The World Should Not Mine Uranium
Posted February 17th, 2008 by Anonymous
Uranium is a rare earth, in 1000 million years time our sun will start
to die & we will have to leave this planet & terraform other
planets & uranium might be the only thing that can be used to take
us to forign planets
Thats why space agencies around the world & enviromental groups
should boycott all mining of uranium or any other mineral which is a
rare earth.

Ziggy's Nuclear Plans: Protesters Disrupt Nuclear Conference in Sydney
Posted October 21st, 2007 by takver
On Friday morning 25 protesters disrupted the start of the Australian Nuclear Association conference and the speech by Ziggy Switkowski, chairman of the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) in Sydney. With anti-nuclear placards and chanting slogans the protest caused heated arguments with conference attendees before the building manager was called and ordered the protesters to leave. The protest and Switkowski's comments to the media indicates that this election campaign is effectively a referendum on Nuclear Power in Australia.

journey across the Australian desert, which would fuse a 'madder than
Max' blend of theater, protest, radical lifestyle and performance. Twelve
years later Robin heads to Port Augusta in Australia's far south to see
who will join the vision. Those who come are a mixture of activists,
musicians, travellers and artists willing to take part in the 20,000km
journey and experiment with 'lateral human governance'.
