Dr Peter Dodwell Exits HealthQuest, the N.S.W. Government Medical Office
Posted April 4th, 2008 by Antino Santangelo
DrPeter Dodwell, New Zealand-born doctor, aviation medicine specialist and alleged 'public health' specialist, departed from HealthQuest two weeks ago.
HealthQuest is the notorious N.S.W. Government Medical Office, now a 'statutory body', which has been known to have seriously breached the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and has been reported to Amnesty International in London on a number of occasions.
Under the previous Directors, Dr Helen Jagger and Dr Helia Gapper, in particular, HealthQuest was well known to have been involved in Soviet-style psychiatry, whereby N.S.W. public servants who were dissenters or whistleblowers were 'certified insane'. Once HealthQuest had provided a 'certificate of insanity' (known by some as a fake retirement certificate), government departments were able to dismiss the whistleblower and there was no proper avenue ofappeal.

Bernie Banton.....thanks
Posted November 21st, 2007 by PyewacketIn these last days of Bernie Banton's life I would like to say thank you for the brave fight. Bernie has been the face of the James Hardie compensation case.
Bernie worked at a James Hardie factory, Camellia, in western Sydney. Of 137 workers at the plant, only 10 are still alive due to asbestos-related diseases. Mr Banton's brother, who also worked at Camellia, died of mesothelioma three years ago. Another brother, now aged 72, is dying of asbestosis.

The Myth of “Co-Management” in Venezuela: Reflections on Alcasa and Invepal
Posted October 25th, 2007 by Anonymous
* With a lot of rhetoric and propaganda the Chavez administration has advanced different examples of co-management which, they claim, demonstrate their desire to transform Venezuela’s relations of production. A compañero from Europe visited us recently and got to know two of the most celebrated cases: Alcasa and Invepal. Here is the report he prepared for El Libertario # 51 about the actual working conditions in the country’s most “important” co-managed businesses.

The Public Service Association Also Guilty re. HealthQuest
Posted September 16th, 2007 by Anonymous
It
is not just the Teachers Union that has betrayed members. Look what 'help' the
courageous Camden nurses or the Dr. Death nurses got from their union. The Public Service Association is just
as bad. It was their Mr. Steve
Turner, Industrial Officer and now Assistant General-Secretary of that union
who suggested and arranged for my employer, the Powerhouse Museum, to send me to
HealthQuest where I was

How John Hennessy of the NSW Teachers Federation Betrayed Whistleblowers
Posted September 14th, 2007 by .The year was 1997. Two years earlier, a group of N.S.W. public servicewhistleblowers had met up at Whistleblowers Australia in Balmain. Theirgroup was growing larger, with advertisements having been placed innewspapers in regional N.S.W. as well as in Sydney. At one point therewere over 100 victims of HealthQuest, the N.S.W. government medicaloffice, which was then headed by Dr Helia Gapper and Dr Helen Jaggerwith a lineup of willing psychologists and psychiatrists to back themup.

Posted September 14th, 2007 by AnonymousJust looking through some of the recent stories on corruption in theN.S.W. public service, we should all be demanding a Royal Commissioninto these disgraceful organizations. Such a Royal Commission must berun by judges from non-Labor states, or Federal judges, who are notunder Morris "Mussolini" Iemma's power.
