I was working with disabled clients in a large residential centre run by Dept Community Services (DoCS) as a registered nurse in the 1990's.
My job was to provide safe and appropriate nursing care and to be an
advocate on their behalf and protect them from physical, emotional, and
mental abuse.

notorious government medical office in Sydney, well known for
perpetrating abuses of human rights for many years.

It's not
going to look good for the Labor Party, what with whistleblowers once
again appealing to Amnesty International to investigate, if your party
is involved in this form of Soviet-style psychiatry and corruption.

In these last days of Bernie Banton's life I would like to say thank you for the brave fight. Bernie has been the face of the James Hardie compensation case.

Bernie worked at a James Hardie factory, Camellia, in western Sydney. Of 137 workers at the plant, only 10 are still alive due to asbestos-related diseases. Mr Banton's brother, who also worked at Camellia, died of mesothelioma three years ago. Another brother, now aged 72, is dying of asbestosis.

A large group of HealthQuest victims have taken their complaints once again to Amnesty International.

In NSW HealthQuest quacks sat behing closed doors and exterminated the whistleblowers by secretly writing fraudulent retirement certificates.  They charged the corrupt agencies about $1,000 to write them.

When the (then) Police Commissioner Ken Moroney vowed to pursue whisdtleblowers through the courts, this was simply stating the existing status quo.
